March President’s Message

Dear NJAIHA Members,

I hope this message finds you well as we transition into spring. I wanted to take a moment to update you on some recent developments and upcoming events within our chapter.

We did have a speaker cancel due to the ongoing moratorium on federal government employees speaking on scientific issues. An executive committee member suggested a replacement, and I agreed that the topics they have spoken on in the past have been very interesting. However, we had a NJAIHA member volunteer to give a talk this month, and with only two weeks to publicize the event, we decided to proceed with this generous offer.

Looking ahead, our March 2025 Dinner Meeting will be a joint event with NJASSP and MABSA. This exciting collaboration will take place on March 27, 2025, at 5 pm at the L’Oréal USA-Research Facility, located at 30 Terminal Avenue, Clark, NJ 07066. The cost for the event is $35. We are thrilled to have Alanna Garrison, CSP, CIH, CHMM, CIT, present on Production and Event Site Safety. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to tour L’Oréal’s recently commissioned state-of-the-art research facility. This promises to be a night of valuable insights and networking.

As always, we appreciate your continued support and participation in our chapter activities. Please mark your calendars for our upcoming meetings: April 17^th and June 19^th. We look forward to seeing you there.
