Topic: Common issues with ventilation systems: Dust, Mold, Dirty coils, Filtration, and Energy loss Speaker: Tom Peter, MS CIHTom has worked with IRS-Restoration for over 20 years, managing mold remediation and HVAC system cleaning projects. He will share some stories and discuss the science behind HVAC cleaning.
IRS is now First Onsite and Tom is now part of a national team to cross-train their employees in 50 locations and provide technical guidance on asbestos, mold, lead, HVAC cleaning and IAQ/facility hygiene.

Topic: Healthcare Hygiene Management Speaker: Dr. Richard M. Lynch, Ph.D, CIH, CHFM Dr. Lynch holds a Ph.D. in Public Health with a minor in Epidemiology from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School/Rutgers University, a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene from Temple University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ecology from Rutgers University. He is Certified in the Comprehensive Practice of Industrial Hygiene by the Board for Global EHS Credentialing, and is a Council-Certified Microbial Consultant, and Council-Certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor by the American Council for Accredited Certification. He is also a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager by the American Society of Healthcare Engineers and the American Hospital Association. Dr. Lynch is also a NJ Department of Health Licensed Indoor Environmental Consultant and Fellow of the American Industrial Hygiene Association; a distinction reserved for only the top 1% of Industrial Hygienists in the USA.Preregistration is appreciated so we can give an accurate headcount to the venue.
